Drama in Year 11

Drama is about doing. Techniques of Drama, improvisation, devising, acting and interpreting are all part of the Level One course.
A safe and caring environment allows students to develop at their own pace whether they are part of the class to gain confidence or have a passion for performance.
Group work is vital and many personal skills are gained. Written work is an integral part of this course. Level One requires an in-depth look at theatre, through performance and also viewing live theatre.
Students work towards their NCEA achievement standard credits at Level One.
