FROM THE PRINCIPAL

The Tsunami in Samoa has been the focus of much of our attention recently. A number of our families have been directly impacted on by the tragedy and they remain in our thoughts and in our prayers. We are all most grateful for the way in which our community responded to our appeal on the Friday of the first week in term 4. Close to $4000 was raised together with an enormous amount of food and clothing. Much of this is already on its way to the relief organizations in Samoa.

All students are now preparing for exams. The Seniors for their external NCEA exams and the Middle school for their exams that commence on the 12th November. We wish both groups every success both in their preparations and the outcomes.

Please keep a close watch on the Newsletters and in particular the Key dates as there are a number of important events throughout this term as we prepare to celebrate and to give thanks for another successful year at Sancta Maria College.
