A day with the birds on Tiritiri Matangi Island

With beautiful skies, scenery and birds, the Year 13 Biology students were lucky enough to take a trip to Tiritiri Matangi Island. On the trip, the students were offered a lecture about evolutionary processes leading to speciation, specifically about the birds that are found on the island and how they developed their characteristics.

Feast day reminds us of the importance of service

The student body, teachers and guests gathered together to celebrate our school's Feast Day. This special day is very important to our school because it remembers the Visitation, when Mary (Sancta Maria), our school's patron, selflessly went to help her cousin Elizabeth.

Wastewise workshop shows we all must be involved

Dr Laux and four members of the environmental team (Daniel West, Niamh Walsh, Kelly Mascarenhas and Lorenzo Cruz) attended the Wastewise Schools secondary workshop held at the Flickling convention centre in Three Kings. The day was fully packed with activities based around the most efficient ways to reduce waste around your school.
