Come join us at Sancta Maria College’s 2018 Cultural Day and witness the breathtaking elegance of Vietnamese dancing. This year our group will be portraying the gracefulness of Vietnamese women with two songs and through the girls’ elegant yet sophisticated movements.

Introducing a family of Sancta Maria Synchro skater

“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.” 

The discipline of synchronized skating, or synchro, comprises of skaters forming shapes such as circles, blocks, lines, wheels and intersections in unison. In Sancta Maria College, we have six of these synchronized figure skaters. With Nicola Bebelman, Courtney Wertheim, Victoria Heald and Katrina Chan in Black Ice and Amanda and Adela skating for the Ice Angels.

2018 Cultural Festival, this Friday 12.25 to 3pm – all welcome

Starting with the traditional Haka, the programme will take you, through the colourful world of dance, to Latin America, Japan, India, Tahiti, the Philippines, China, Tonga, East Asia, Vietnam and Samoa. A whirlwind tour, yes, but one that will excite and enchant you and leave you wanting more.
