Pasifika leaders of tomorrow

Last week 6 of our Pasifika students attended the PILOT Programme (Pacific Island Leaders of Tomorrow) at the MIT campus.

The purpose of the PILOT programme is to inspire, engage and develop Pacific leaders and help them to make informed decisions about their education and career. All students really enjoyed the day and were able to network with students from other Auckland secondary schools who they will meet up with again in Years 11, 12 and 13 of the PILOT programme.

Congratulations to Tristan Tualagi who was named ‘top boy’ for PILOT for the day and received an award. All students did our school proud, and really stood out for their engaging discussions with their peers.
