Enrolment Procedures

Sancta Maria College accepts long terms and short term students with a minimum stay of one term Students can apply to study at the college any time during the year. A prospective student needs a clear idea of what procedures need to be completed in order to qualify for aceptance by Sancta Maria college as a fee paying student. The following is a checklist clarifying essential actions.

  • Application - Complete an enrolment application form and send to Sancta Maria College.
  • Tuition Agreement – Complete the Tuition Agreement and send to Sancta Maria College.
  • Passport - Please include 1 copy of the student's passport details.


All applications must be made on the official application forms.  Where an application is made from within New Zealand, an interview with the student will be required. Where an application is made from outside New Zealand, unless the student is interviewed by a member of the staff from the school, it will be done through a contracted agent in accordance with Section 9 of the Code of Practice.

Once a student is accepted and has been provided with all the information required of the school by the Code of Practice, an offer of place will be made. Until such time as fees are paid and all documentation supplied as required (including visa, signed contract, home stay and guardianship names and addresses, insurance coverage), the student may not begin their course.

All students will be required to sit a pre entry English Language test.  If the student does not meet our English Language entry requirements a place may be offered conditional on a period of study at a language school being undertaken.
