Second day sees mixed results

After a first up loss on Day 2 of the UNISS tournament our premier netballers bounced back to win their second game 33-18.

The second day of the UNISS tournament for SMC’s netball premier team saw mixed results. The girls lost their first game against Sacred Heart 20-18. This was a very close game from start to finish, with the girls displaying excellent straight lines, intercepts and defence, as well as incredible support from the sideline. We thank Mrs Heffernan, Mrs Holmes, Mr Bacon, Mr Gutry, Leanne and all parents for coming to watch the games today.

The second game saw a win for the girls against Whangaparoa 33-18. The team worked exceptionally well together showing amazing teamwork, communication, driving and timing.

We wish the girls the best of luck for Day 3 as they play another two games.
