Summer – time for a good book

As the summer break draws closer, the library is carrying out the annual ‘Summer Reading’ programme in which students returning to Sancta Maria College next year can take out up to ten books to read during the summer holidays.

In order to take part, you will have to fill out a permission form, which can be found in the library. Anyone who has any outstanding books or is not returning to school next year cannot take part.

When filling out the form, there is a ‘mystery selection’ area, which makes it easier for the librarians to find the books you love. You will have to state the kind of books you like, and ones you don’t.

Also taking place in the library is the Big Book Sale, meaning you can purchase some of the library’s expiring books for just 50c.
