On Monday 3 August 2026, Sancta Maria College held their annual Year 9 & 10 speech finals. Eleven talented finalists, across both year levels took to the stage, each delivering engaging and thoughtful speeches on a range of topics. After an impressive display of confidence, creativity, and public speaking skills, four students were selected to represent the College at the inter-school speech competition.
Congratulations to our Year 9 winner, Sarah Ernstzen, and runner-up, Codie-Robinson Avei. As well as our Year 10 winner, Jessica Buckley, and runner-up, Damon Eu. Sarah and Jessica will represent Sancta Maria College at the Eastern Zone Speech Competition, held at Howick.
