Priority of Enrolment

Sancta Maria College has a Ministry of Education approved enrolment scheme that has clearly defined priorities of enrolment. Please see the description below for identified boundaries.

NOTE: Incomplete Application Forms that do not include all required information will not be processed and will be returned. Please identify the category under which you are making application – tick each box and attach a photocopy (no originals).

Priority 1 – In-Zone Catholic Students attending:

Our Lady Star of the Sea School, St Marks School,
Sancta Maria Catholic Primary School

Preference form signed by Priest
Baptism Cert
Evidence of residential address (eg Power Account)
Medical Form completed

Current Immunisation certificate

Student’s most recent school report in your possession


Priority 2 – Out of Zone Catholic Students attending:

Our Lady Star of the Sea School, St Marks School,
Sancta Maria Catholic Primary School

Preference form signed by Priest
Baptism Cert
Medical Form completed


Priority 3 – Other In-Zone Catholic Students NOT attending:

Our Lady Star of the Sea School, St Marks School,

Priority 4 – Out of  Zone Catholic Students

Non-preference students will be enrolled only if enrolment places remain after all preference applicants have been enrolled. The maximum number of places available for non-preference students will be governed by the maximum allowable under the College’s Integration Agreement.

In this grouping, priority will be given in the following order:

a) Brothers/sisters of non-preference students currently enrolled

b) Sons/daughters of former non-preference students

c) Non-preference students from feeder schools

d) Non-preference applicants who are children of employees of the College

e) Other non-preference applicants

 Waiting List Procedure: 

All unsuccessful applicants may choose to have their names placed on a waiting list. The waiting list will be kept within relevant priority categories, ranked in order. Students on the waiting list may be offered places at a later date if they become available. The waiting list will remain current until the beginning of the next enrolment intake.

Zone Description

FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS 2020

The Financial Contributions for 2020 are:

Year 7-8: $1,695 per year
Year 9-13: $2,070 per year

These amounts are made up by:

Year 7-8 Attendance Dues: $448 per year incl GST
Year 9-13 Attendance Dues: $880 per year incl GST
Special Character Contribution*: $50 per year
Proprietors Contribution*: $355 per year
School Contribution Year 7-8*: $842 per year
School Contribution Year 9-13*: $785 per year
