On 17 June 2025, the Year 12 Media Studies students were given the exciting opportunity to participate in the Wētā Workshop Unleashed tour at SkyCity, helping them prepare for their film internals. This trip offered an inside-look into the world behind film production, allowing the students to gain valuable insight on special effects, design, and prosthetics. The tour provided a hands-on experience, providing a glimpse into the industry behind what was being studied in classroom. For many students, the tour was a highlight of the year, leaving the trip with inspiration and a sense of awe for the craft that goes into making cinematic magic.
