Students shine in our annual Athletics Day

On Monday 23 February 2026 we had our annual athletics day. This is one of the days many of our students look forward to in our Sancta Maria College calendar, as it’s a day to showcase your talents and go out and try new things.  This year’s athletics day house results were:

  • Akaroa in 4th place
  • Hokianga in 3rd
  • Kororāreka in 2nd and
  • Waitematā in 1st

Putting house rankings aside, our students performed outstandingly well individually, managing to break a few school records. Congratulations to the following students who broke or equalled records, and well done to those who participated in the track/ relay races:
