Feast Day Mass celebrates and unites our school

Jehaziel Meer

To end our Special Character Week, on Friday 29 May 2026, our whole school came together at our annual Feast Day Mass – Feast of the visitation – focused on Mary and Elizabeth’s powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit. Our school community gathered at St. Lukes Parish, with Father Benedict and Bishop Peter Brown presiding over Mass.

Through this celebration, we were reminded to open our hearts like Mary did – ready to say “yes” to God and ready to be a source of joy to those around us. Not only were we inspired to serve in our community like Carlo Acutis, but we also proudly commissioned 15 Altar Servers, 38 Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, and 19 Ministers of the Word.

Immense gratitude to those who have helped prepare Feast Day Mass, ending Special Character Week 2026 on a truly special note. Congratulations to all those who were commissioned and may we all serve others with love.
