On 11 August 2026, Sancta Maria College gathered, to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of Mary. It was truly a memorable Mass where we honour our Mother Mary and are reminded of her deep faith to God, as well as the united hope we share in God’s promise of eternal life.
With reverence, the abundance of students, staff, and teachers combined sang joyously our school hymns and responded with utmost grace. Not only was this day a time of prayer, but it further reaffirmed our devotion to God by opening our hearts, reflecting, and giving thanks in our lives – inspired by Mary our role model.
Even our prayers of the faithful, displayed inclusivity and reverence, as our students wore their cultural traditional clothes and confidently read in their native tongue. Special appreciation to those who have been involved in making Mass remarkable, including Fr. Benedict Francis, Mr. Tamayo, Ms. Oliver, the school choir and the student ministers.
