Cooking up a storm

 

They say that ‘too many cooks spoil the broth’. However, that is definitely not the case where our Y12 and 13 hospitality students are concerned.

Last week 21 students spent the day at MIT for their Level 2 and 3 Kitchen Hygiene assessment. They were required to prepare, cook and serve minestrone soup with cheesy bread and their own creation of burgers and French fries, which they consumed themselves for lunch.

They all left with smiles on their faces, as well as full stomachs, as 21 successful cooks all passed the assessment
