With excitement in the air, the enthusiastic students couldn’t wait to participate. The competitions ran simultaneously in different rooms. We enjoyed lunch with some parents who came to support their children. The day concluded with liturgy and prizegiving.
We held our breath as the winners were being announced. Shouts and accolades filled the auditorium. Miss Smith acknowledged al those who helped with the organization and we thank Miss Smith for all the hard work she put in to make this event possible.

The results (1st, 2nd and 3rd) in all sections will now have to be tallied to find the overall winning homerooms. These will be announced at the end of year prizegiving, when they will be presented with the Shield and Trophy.
The Year 7s look forward to doing this again next year while the Year 8s, as Year 9s, will be eligible to take on the inter-college Pompallier Shield competition.
