‘Protect our planet’ is the theme for Peace Week 2018. Our students will be involved in a number of activities promoting peace and looking at ways to care for planet earth. Being also Environment Week is a very happy coincidence.
Students took advantage of the sunshine and fine weather to chalk messages of peace and love on the school courtyard. Loving our neighbour, caring for our planet and promoting peace must happen together, as Pope Francis explained in his encyclical ‘Laudato Si’.
With lots more activities for both Peace Week and Environment Week to come, it is going to be a busy next few days.
