A difficult Saturday for netball teams

 

Sancta Maria netball club faced some difficult games this weekend with teams achieving mixed results at Howick Pakuranga netball club (HPNC). All teams gave their all but some opponents were more difficult than anticipated! Great levels of teamwork, support, encouragement and enthusiasm were shown out on the court with the girls working together against tough opposition.

The team that stood out this weekend is SMC C9, winning against Shelly Park C5 20-16. The whole game was a very close one with SMC leading the first three quarters by one point. It wasn’t until the last quarter that the team showed some amazing defensive work, overall gaining a 4 point lead.
