Sancta Maria College is a co-educational Year 7-13 State Integrated Catholic College with 1000 students located in East Auckland.  Our professional learning programme is designed to meet the interests of teachers and positively impact student outcomes.

Homestay Coordinator

Permanent, Part-time (20 hours per week).

We are seeking an enthusiastic, vibrant, self-motivated Homestay Coordinator who is keen to support our growing base of International Students.

Commitment to the special character of the College is a condition of employment.  

You will be responsible for Responsible for:

  • Placement of international students in an appropriate homestay.
  • Recruiting, training, inspecting and monitoring of host families.
  • Regular communication with students, host families, students’ families, and agents.
  • Scheduling pick-ups and placements of foreign students.
  • Record keeping, documentation and other administration tasks.
  • Being part of the 24-hour emergency contact system.
  • Participating in student events and school activities.

This role would suit someone who loves working with young people and their families, as you will be providing pastoral support to students.
