Teacher Aid
We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Teacher Aide with great initiative and communication skills to join our vibrant Learning Support Department. The successful candidate will be required to work with a variety of students across the College from Year 7-13 with various special needs and talents. You will also need to work as a team member with teachers and other staff members and should be empathetic to the needs of young adolescents.  
 
Commencing 29 May 2019 – 10 December 2019. 10 hours per week with negotiable hours.
All candidates will also be required to support the Special Character of the College.

Homestay Coordinator
We are seeking an enthusiastic, vibrant, self-motivated Homestay Coordinator who is keen to support our growing base of International Students.
You will be responsible for:
  • The safe and appropriate residential care for our Foreign fee-paying students
  • Assisting in the continued wellbeing of our Foreign fee-paying students
  • Ensuring effective communication between relevant stakeholders
This position is 30 hours per week, term time only with additional hours in the school holidays to meet the expectations of the job description.  These additional hours will be in consultation with the Director of International Students prior to each holiday period.

Guidance Councellor (Permanent; Part-Time)

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Guidance Counsellor to provide counselling for students in Years 7-13.  Professional qualifications at Master’s level will be an advantage.  This position is for 1 day/week (Friday) and has the potential for an increase in hours in the future.

We are currently looking for volunteer coaches for the 2019 season.

The sports that need additional support are Basketball, Football, Hockey and Rugby, with many other opportunities available.

The ideal people will have the following attributes:

  • Coaching experience at intermediate or secondary school (or equivalent club level)
  • Good knowledge of their chosen sports code and a willingness to continue developing/learning
  • Can support the values and policies of Sancta Maria College

Time commitment for coaching varies depending on the sports code and level, however, most of our programmes operate between 3.30 - 6.30pm during week nights and some on Saturdays. All volunteers will be required to undergo Police Vetting before commencing their duties. Volunteers will also be given the opportunity to attend coaching courses/seminars if they wish.
