Leah Dawson is one of a group of Year 10 art students who collaboratively created a rosary out of papier mache. The impressive art work has now been installed in the reception foyer of the College.
Leah says, “We used lots of different painting techniques like dripping paint and blowing paint through straws. At the end a gloss finish was added.”
Ella Cook (who took the photographs as well as being one of the artists) added, “Everyone in the class was involved. We collaborated well together.”
Both girls said it was great fun, even the difficult part of joining the papier mache pieces together.
“It’s really cool to have our art work installed in the school foyer,” they agreed.
