The author of The Last Fallen Star and Dreamslinger, Graci Kim, visited our school on 23 May 2025. She is a wonderful, kind and cheerful person, and for an hour, she shared insights into her life—her successes, her failures, and how she became an author.
Graci spoke about the importance of failure, seeing it not as a setback but as an opportunity to learn from mistakes and keep moving forward. She also introduced us to her books, explaining what each one is about.
At the end of her visit, she gave everyone a bookmark and a sample of her latest book. Those who had purchased Dreamslinger stayed behind to have their copies signed. Graci took time with each person, signing their book and writing a thoughtful message, reminding them to embrace their mistakes as learning opportunities.
Her visit left us with a powerful lesson: Never give up.
