Christmas comes early at Totara Hospice

Yesterday it was the Volunteers’ Christmas luncheon at Totara Hospice. Sophia Bebelman and Logan Fenton presented each volunteer with the special package prepared by 11CLE students. The lunch menu included the famous Kiwi ham and turkey, followed by pavlova.

This luncheon was a wonderful start to the festive season. People quickly questioned Sophia and Logan about their presence as they seemed too young to be working for the Hospice. Both did a great job at keeping up the secret to the end of the lunch when the parcels were revealed. The volunteers, Tina McCafferty (Chief executive) Melinda Seal (Fundraising manager) and Rachel Clarke (Fundraising and marketing co-ordinator) would like to extend their appreciation to 11CLE and Sancta Maria College for their contribution towards making this year’s Hospice Volunteers’ Christmas luncheon so special.
