Players from our Festival Orchestra had another mentoring session in readiness for the Join Together Festival, later this month.
Conductor David Kay, who is a horn player with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, came along to lead the group and give them extra direction for their performance.
The Join Together Festival will take place at Point View School on the evenings of Wednesday the 26th and Thursday the 27th of June, featuring a mass choir and orchestra of students from Sancta Maria College, Point View School and Mission Heights Primary School. It promises to be a wonderful evening of music and we would like to thank the APO for sending David to us for this session.
