With hattricks and big wins, our Year 7 football girls placed 4th after wins against Farm Cove by 5-0 and Bucklands Beach Intermediate 4-3. A draw against Howick, and losses to St Kentigern College and Somerville didn’t dampen their great day. They were able to regroup and battle on to take out 4th place overall.
Congratulations to Mikaela Bangalan who showed her goal scoring prowess with a hat-trick in both victories.
Despite losing three out of their four matches, the Year 7 boys put up a gallant effort, their resilience and fighting spirit saw them win convincingly against Ferguson Intermediate 4-2.
The Under 15 Boys football team enjoyed a dream start to their season, beating Rosehill College 10-0 last Wednesday.
