Glitz and Glamour at Senior’s School Ball

Cyprus Causer

Booming music, photo clicks and flashing smiles – the Hollywood Glamour themed senior school ball held at Ellerslie Events Centre on the 28 April 2023 saw a huge turnout of seniors dressed in their finest attire to party the night out away with their friends. Students were welcomed by the teachers at the entrance and then proceeded to the photographer as they arrived.

The evening took off with a group of Year 13s doing the traditional first dance, choreographed by Ella Dickens.

This was followed by a Year 13 vs Year 12 dance. The buffet also provided plenty of variety to please the appetites. There were plenty of opportunities for students to take photos with a backdrop, a photo booth and a magazine cover available, which gave us a tantalising snapshot into our wonderful evening. Non-stop music provided by the DJ kept the vibes and dancing going right into the night.

The award winners on the night were:

  • Ball King & Queen – Amadeo Tangdilambi and Alexandria Lazatin
  • Ball Princess & Prince – Anne Dungo and Jan Matanguihan
  • Best Dressed – Jacob Ventura
  • Life of the Party – Rhoel Bautista
  • Best Galmance Year 13 – Marina Jones and Aloyze Tafu
  • Best Galmance Year 12 – Abigail Martis and Carleen Tamase
