Macleans College hosted the first Korean Night in collaboration with Sancta Maria College and Botany Downs Secondary School. This event was very meaningful because it marked the first collaboration between the three schools.
The night was filled with many talented performers from across the three schools and with the well known and dearly beloved K-pop blasting through the speakers! Our very own Junior Performance Team participated in this event, directed by Ella Lee, and were the youngest out of all the performance groups. The students taking part in this performance group were: Yeun Hee Park (Yr10), Stella Kwon (Yr8), Minju Kim (Yr8), Stephen Ju (Yr8) and Katie Wang (Yr7). We cannot be any prouder of them!
This night brought Sancta Maria College, Botany Down Secondary School and Macleans College together, introduced a different culture to many people, and even brought students together through a common interest!
There is no doubt that Korean Night 2016 was an absolute success. Thanks is owed to Ms Cho for being the teacher organiser and Ella Lee from Year 12 for being the student organiser representing Sancta Maria College in Korean Night.
