Fresh from the engravers, members of our Big Band proudly show off the Jazz Improvisation Award that they earned at this year’s KBB Festival. It is the second time that our school has brought this award home and it keeps them in exalted company along with previous winners such as Auckland Grammar School and Saint Kentigern’s College. From left to right, drummer Samuel Hong, bassist Ryan Ebron, pianist Paolo Leicas and guitarist Madison Isaiah are pictured in our school reception, where the trophy will proudly sit in our trophy cabinet until August of 2025.
