Market day draws large crowd

The main courtyard was filled with sounds of excitement as the 2016 Market Day got under way and the first visitors were students from Sancta Maria Primary.

The area filled even more when the College lunchtime began and more boys and girls came to buy.

Year 7 and 8 pupils and Year 10 Business Studies students showed their inventiveness and creativity through the wide range of goods for sale and entertainment on offer.

Money rapidly changed hands as items were purchased and games played. An air of fun and enjoyment was prevalent.

The hours and hours of effort put in by students was justly rewarded by the skills they had learned as much as the money they had made, a percentage of which will be donated to charity.
