Maths Week shows problem solving can be fun

Square roots, quadratic formulae and exponentials. Words that can sometimes lead to much puzzlement among students.

However, after an exciting week of activities, students were able to experience Pi, in a way as fun as eating an actual pie!
Organised by Miss Cho, daily homeroom quizzes were available to challenge students to unleash their mathematical prowess, previously relegated to the back of the mind on a hot Friday afternoon maths lesson.
In addition, a competition open to all, allowed students to combine their artistic talents with maths to create intricate graphs with the website Desmos.com, with the top three mathematicians scoring themselves brand new graphics calculators!

In conclusion, a week of fun mathematical activities have turned this subject into something enjoyed by all!
