MIT Culinary competition delivers silver and bronze awards

The Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) School of Hospitality is a major hub for emerging chef competitions, and this year is no exception.  They hosted their annual regional Secondary and Tertiary Training Hospitality Competition on 26 May 2026, featuring live kitchen cook-offs and static showcases of kiwi favourites.  Selected technology students participated across a number of Categories during the day, showcasing their skills, professionalism and creativity in the kitchen.  Congratulations to these students who achieved the following awards:
