Reflecting on the Y12 retreat

It was that time of year again when the Year 12s make the short journey across the road to the Korean Church where they spent the day reflecting.

After a morning liturgy the year group separated into activities like reflecting on our well-being and relieving our current stresses and worries. After that followed a reflection session in the church involving private penance with a priest.

Everyone’s hunger was sated with a free pizza lunch. The group was then joined by some helpers from Salt and Light where Year 12s battled it out to see which homeroom was the best at interactive activites. Needless to say piggybacking, tennis balls and rubber tyre treads where involved.

At the end of the day the students returned home feeling a little less burdened by the stress of term 2 thanks to all the teachers help on the day.
