Sancta Maria College will be represented at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Track & Field Championships in Dunedin over the weekend (30 November – 2 December) with three students competing.
Erica Lim (pictured) our College U16 Athletics Champion makes her debut at Senior level and will look to improve on her 2017 Junior personal bests in the 100m and 200m. Laura Richardson (School U19 Athletics Runner Up) is competing in Senior Girls 400m sprint and the gruelling 4km Road Race. Tanya Murray won’t get to defend her 2017 Javelin title and National record due to injury but she will still be competing in the Senior Girls Shot Put and Hammer Throw events.
