Sancta Maria College is seeking to appoint a Deputy Principal to join our Senior Leadership Team.
We are a high performing Catholic school with strong Catholic values. Our motto of “Faith is our compass” is at the core of everything we do and permeates every aspect of school life.
We are seeking a relational person of integrity who will bring a strong work ethic, commitment and enthusiasm to our collaborative team. The successful candidate will be a visible presence in our college and bring significant middle, or senior leadership experience, including successfully managing change.
The successful candidate will have the ability to connect with students, staff, whānau and community. They will have excellent knowledge of curriculum, evidence-based teaching and learning practice in their subject field and have experience in growing the leadership of others.
In your application, please outline your areas of strength and experience as specific portfolios will be negotiated, however, experience in delivering pastoral care, and student discipline, management, and wellbeing will be an asset. Experience in leading the delivery of school wide co-curricular programmes, particularly sport, will also be an advantage.
