Success for our Netball Teams!

Saturday was filled with many successes for the Sancta Maria Netball Club. The day began with a turbulent forecast making the games even more challenging for our players. The message, which was spread by coach of 10A and Premier, Leanne Farmer, was to “keep composure and control the game”.

All of our girls showed outstanding skill and adaption to the game which helped our teams triumph over their oppositions.

The results of all our Sancta Maria netball teams playing at Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre (HPNC) on Saturday 10 August are listed below:

SMC Ex girls – Premier/Senior A grade – Lost to Te Ruapotaka S1 (33-17)

SMC Premier – Senior B grade – Won against Monster Boot Camp S1 (34-26)

SMC College 1 (10A) – College 3 grade – Won against Howick C1 (16-13)

SMC College 2 (9A) – College 4 grade – Won against Mellons C4 (30-27)

SMC College 3 – College 6 grade – Drew to Elim C4 (9-9)

SMC College 4 – College 7 grade – Won against Pohutukawa Coast Netball Club C4 (26-8)

SMC College 5 – College 7 grade – Won against Mellons bay C6 (26-19)

SMC College 6 – College 8 grade – Lost to Elim C5 (21-10)

Junior 1 (8A) – Yr 8 Champs grade – Lost to Shelly Park J1 (25-24)

Junior 2 (8B) – Yr 8 Flight 2 – Drew to Sunnyhills J4 (16-16)

Junior 3 (8C) – Yr 8 Flight 3 – Won against Howick J2 (16-7)

Junior 4 (7A) – Yr 7 Champs grade – Won against Pakuranga United J3 (9-5)

Junior 5 (7B) – Yr 7 Flight 1 – Lost to Sunnyhills J8 (16-7)
