Playing the part of Sharpay Evans in the production of High School Musical Jnr is Shania Carter-Chan. Shania is the younger sister of Cameron Carter-Chan, who played one of the lead roles in the 2018 Senior Production of Grease.
Coming from a talented family, Shania has experience of singing, dancing and especially acting. She is enthusiastic about the role as Sharpay is a character she looks forward to portraying on stage. Shania is very excited to perform before an audience and cannot wait to walk onto the stage next week.
Her character is one of the most popular girls to ever walk the halls of East High. Sharpay Evans is accustomed to getting her way. Needless to say, when new transfer student Gabriella Montez steals the lead role and the leading man (Troy Bolton) from right under her nose, she responds less than graciously. Sharpay will do anything to keep Gabriella from dismantling her carefully established high school hierarchy.
