Congratulations to Meara Magsalay-Downie, Elizabeth Johnstone and Seline Nevado who participated in the Zonta Debate early June at the Howick Club. The girls debated against Botany Downs Secondary College and successfully negated the moot: This house believes that economic disadvantage is the greatest barrier for women. The girls have done our school proud by winning back the shield this year – Meara was awarded 90/100 points and both Elizabeth and Seline received 100/100 – a perfect score!
