Year 11 Accounting

AIM to produce financially literate individuals who can produce and analyse financial data and use it to assist in making informed decisions.

Accounting is a discipline which measures, records, reports and interprets financial and non-financial information about an entity to interested parties, to enable them to make appropriate economic decisions.

As with all of your courses it is very important you keep up to date with the class work and always complete your homework because a lot of the material builds on content learned previously. Make sure that if you are having problems you sort them out as soon as possible by asking friends, your teacher, consulting your notes or text book. The course includes both theory and practical aspects.

You need to have:

  • A calculator
  • Notes book
  • Workbook (to be purchased when available)
  • Ruler
