On Friday 24 July 2026, Sancta Maria College celebrated our annual Twilight Cultural Festival. The day began with large amounts of students entering school in their traditional cultural attire, proudly representing their unique cultural background. The festival officially began at lunchtime, as various music groups performed and ignited the spirit of this iconic celebration. In fifth period, students began making their way into the auditorium to watch the performances such as Chinese and Filipino cultural dances.
Our culturally diverse characteristics continued to shine as students returned to school with friends and whanau, sharing the delight of individuality in unity, as the twilight celebration officially began at 4:30pm. Thank you to our music students, who kicked off the festival with some fantastic performances, followed by dance performances by the various cultural groups.
