A satisfying day at Auckland University

Despite the bitter cold, a few of our history students trooped their way to the Auckland University. There, they spent a whole day gaining insights for this year’s history scholarship theme, which is ‘Myth in Nations’ History’.

The students were able to listen to various speakers and lecturers, who all gave different forms of insights from different points of history, such as the myth in the history of the Magna Carta, and even the myth in the history of the American Revolution, which our students are writing about for their end of year examinations. The students were also given tips and tricks on confronting the end of year scholarship examination with like-minded people from schools all around Auckland, and even received a detailed tour around the large campus.

At the end, the students were exhausted with the processing of the knowledge they received from the day, but also satisfied with what they had learned.
