At the latest of a series of university presentations, Year 13 students were able to learn more about their study options at the University of Auckland. The talk was run by Teri Fong, the university’s advisor for schools in Auckland.
Teri shared her passion for tertiary study with us by encouraging us to take advantage of the many opportunities the University of Auckland offers. These included over 200 clubs (such as the Meat Club and Debating Society), thousands of beds available in halls of residence, some exciting new degrees like Global Studies and Advanced Science, and overseas exchanges.
Teri provided a great introduction to university life for the Year 13 students and made sure we left the session feeling more prepared and excited for our life after high school.
