“Butterflies are flying flowers, and flowers are tethered butterflies.”

Thanks to the efforts of Dr Laux and the kind donations of Bunnings, Sancta Maria College received a selection of plants to present to the future butterfly residents of our butterfly garden.

The Enviro Team put Bunning’s generosity to use by planting lavender and heliotrope along the borders of the cross of the butterfly garden. The team got into it, and after some quick work, the plants have now comfortably settled into their new homes. We now await the flowers to bloom and become a place butterflies will love being around.

The afternoon of work provided yet another step toward a flourishing butterfly garden the College can be proud of.
