Clearing our school grounds of Moth Plant

Kaitiakitanga in action – Six of our students spent over an hour with Pragna Patel from Ōtara Waterways and Lake Trust, one sunny May day after school, to rid our school grounds of the noxious Moth plant and pods.  Pragna, the Flatbush Community Co-ordinator from Ōtara Waterways and Lake trust also managed to talk with our wonderful Property team who will help continue the eradication programme.  Wonderful work and thank you for your time and enthusiasm caring for our environment.

Not content with leaving a job half finished, these boys continued their mahi on Thursday 1 June, in their own time after school to further eradicate this noxious weed from our school grounds.  Great effort everyone who helped – thank you!
