“Learning to be the best you can be” This was the motivation and what filled the minds of the Yr 8 football girls as they faced tough competition against more experienced teams in the South Eastern tournament.
They were coached by Mr Paul Hill who had a game plan of doing consecutive passes in each game which the girls worked hard to achieve. The cohesiveness between the players and great listening and communication with their coach was an excellent example of how a team should be.
Although the girls lost to the two finalists, they were able to finish the day with a friendly game against our neighbouring school Redoubt North which was a nice way to end the competition.
The girls really appreciate and want to thank Mr Paul Hill for the time he gave to coach them and the things he taught them which they will definitely use in the future.
