Three teams entered the SEZ Gymnastics Competition last week at the Howick Gymnastics Club. Year 7 girls: Cady Lim and Cyprus Causer
Year 7 boys: Joah Shand-Marcusson, Jack Jane, Ronan Guinan and Hayden Waters
and Year 8 girls: Laska Knipe, Ella Mackay and Georgia Moore
Some of them were having a go at gymnastics for the first time.
They competed on three apparatus: beam, vault and floor. With just a few weekly early morning training sessions under the expertise of their coach Cara. The students performed their routines with precision and confidence. Mr Hunn was their co-ordinator. The students had a great time.
