7BRN win the Year 7 peer support sing off

Third times a charm, with 7BRN taking the win three years in a row.

Each Year 7 class had to select a song and put their own little spin on it, rewriting the lyrics to reflect on our school’s values and the experiences shared at Sancta Maria College. The students of 7BRN described the song making process as ‘really, really fun’ and would definitely do it again.

This experiment really challenged the Year 7s to work together to create an entertaining music piece, bringing them closer as a class group and establishing friendships. The students are also really excited for the year to come, when in Year 8 they are expected to produce a dance with their peer support leaders.
