On Tuesday, 25 May, Sancta Maria College held our annual Special Character Week; a cherished time in the school calendar, filled with God’s Holy Spirit. We began on Tuesday morning with a student-led prayer by the gate.
On Wednesday, a student-led rosary group focused on the eternal love of Mother Mary. This was followed by a lunchtime Mass led by the parish priest of St Luke’s Church, Father Benedict.
On Thursday, the NET team visited our school and led a beautiful praise and worship session. They encouraged us to let the Holy Spirit move within us and offered students intercessory prayer.
On Friday, our school celebrated Feast Day Mass together, sharing a sausage sizzle after it then the whole school gathered for our annual Talent Quest. The Caritas Challenge continued through till 9pm, rounding off a special week of activities. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing parents who supported us after Feast Day Mass, cooking and serving a sausage sizzle for all our students. God bless you.
