We are now less than one week away before the curtains open for Sancta Maria College’s production “Grease” and the school population is buzzing with excitement, especially after a sneak peek of “Summer Nights,” one of the show’s musical numbers.” I think it’s safe to say that “Summer Nights” stuck in everyone’s heads for quite some time. Katrina Chan to Represent New Zealand at UN Youth Conference

Passionate, ambitious and dedicated, Katrina Chan is among 9 New Zealanders carefully selected to participate in a 2-week UN Youth Pacific Project in the July holidays. The project aims to educate students on New Zealand’s relationship with the Pacific and an aspect of this includes Katrina and 8 other high school students attending the UN Youth Australia National Conference held in Adelaide, Australia.

Murder at SMC

Last week was Library Week with ‘Murder by the Book’ murder mystery as one of the activities. There were clues around the library to help solve the mystery, including a cryptic message. The mystery? To find out who killed Mrs Terry, the motive behind the killing and how she was killed.
