With College staff attending professional learning development sessions every second week, Year 7 and 8 students have been left in the hands of College prefects to think of fun ways to start their Thursday mornings.

They say that ‘too many cooks spoil the broth’. However, that is definitely not the case where our Y12 and 13 hospitality students are concerned.

Howick’s Uxbridge Centre hosted a Classical Music Evening and of the nine performances selected for the show, Sancta Maria College provided two of them.

Over Easter weekend Year 8 student Harrison Edwards competed in the NZ Orienteering Nationals. This was his first time competing at nationals and he competed in the 14A grade.

The most daunting FAQ of “What do you want to do when you leave school?” seemed far less intimidating after the careers evening.

 Congratulations to the Year 10 students who have been chosen as Middle School Leaders for 2018. They were selected by their dean, Mrs Holmes and their homeroom teachers. The middle school leaders began their first duty in this leadership role when they interacted with prospective parents and students on our Open Day.
