For Term Two, the St Vincent de Paul society,“The Young Vinnies and the Mini Vinnies”, are voluntarily committing to rest home visits after school on Wednesday. Sancta Maria College was narrowly beaten in its attempt to defend the Pompallier Shield won last year from five time winners Sacred heart College. A highlight of the night was Henry Elliot winning the Maori Scripture reading top prize.

Sharing talents to celebrate Catholic Schools’ Day

Christ the King Primary School, St Mary’s Avondale, St Therese Primary School, and Sancta Maria College came together to celebrate Catholic Schools’ Day; approximately 400 students from the primary schools joined 65 students from Sancta Maria College. This joint celebration of the four Catholic schools was made possible by Christ the King Primary School, who kindly hosted this special day.
