Amphitheatre taking shape

We have all seen the colosseum-looking building that’s being constructed in C block. We’ve all been asking the same questions; why is it being built? what is it? A pool? A castle?

Well, it turns out that it is an Outdoor Teaching Amphitheatre. It will be used for a number of curricular subjects and be an area where Year Levels can hold their assemblies. This space will also give a “hub” to the central courtyard area which students can use during school breaks to congregate and enjoy the surroundings.

This area will also incorporate the installation of a donated statue of “Mary” as its main feature.

The proposal to construct this amphitheatre was submitted to the Board of Trustees on April 8, 2019. Its approximate date of completion is November 29, 2019.
